Basics
We provide a better way to track your readers through Statistics.
As a publisher on Issuu, you can find your statistics at https://issuu.com/home/statistics.
The statistics for your content give you better insight into its visibility on the Issuu platform, including who is viewing it, how it is being viewed, and how many people are engaging with your work. This information is gathered through data such as impressions, reads, read time, shares, and more.
The statistics dashboards are updated once a day around 08:00 am according to UTC time. Please note that the delay in statistics appearing is typically around 2 days.
Under the Basic or Starter plan, you can only access statistics from the last 30 days.
Higher-tier plans include access to historical statistics older than a month. Under a higher-tier plan, you can:
- View your statistics for a specific date range.
- View stats on individual documents, reads, views, impressions, and more.
Check your upgrade page to see the list of features.
Article statistics are no longer available, as the Articles feature is being phased out. To learn more, visit Articles Feature Discontinuation.
Impressions are the number of times that your content was served or shown on the Issuu network, whether in someone’s feed (as a thumbnail), search results, or on a website where you have embedded the content.
Reads are counted when someone opens your content and either performs an action (by flipping the page, zooming, etc.) or stays for more than two seconds.
Read Time will be counted once the content has been loaded for two seconds (when considered a Read). The time is tracked in milliseconds, which is why it is represented in the same format in the downloaded statistics files. But it is shown in hours: minutes: seconds format in the statistics dashboards on Issuu.
Average Time Spent is Read Time divided by Reads.
Clicks are the number of times a link has been clicked on within your content.
NOTE: We don't track unique readers. So if a reader views your content multiple times, all their views are counted.
Specific Date Range
To view statistical history that is older than a month, you need to subscribe to a higher-tier plan. Under these plans, you can:
- View your statistics by specific date range or time period
- View stats on individual documents, reads, views, and impressions
Check your upgrade page to see the list of features.
Steps to apply a filter for statistics:

2. You can view statistics from various time periods (depending on your subscription plan). You can choose between:
- Last 6 months
- Last 30 days
- Last 7 days

Statistics Visual Report
It is also possible to download the Statistics visual report, which lets you export stats as a single PDF for all publications or as separate documents.
Reading Devices and Sources and Readers Around the World
The last section, Reading Devices and Sources and Readers Around the World, reflects what devices your readers are using to read your content on Issuu and from where they access the content - whether from issuu.com or from embeds (this also includes the Shareable Full-Screen Reader and QR Codes created on Issuu).
Content Clicks Statistics
- The number of times links created and inserted by publishers in their content are clicked is also tracked. You can find this information under LINKS.
To access LINKS Statistics, you need to subscribe to a higher-tier plan.
- First, you can access your content-level statistics.
- Scroll down to LINKS, and you will see how many times each link has been clicked and how many impressions they have had.
