What is changing?

Starting April 21, 2026, the Articles feature on Issuu is being phased out. It is no longer possible to create new Articles. From May 12, 2026, the Articles section will be removed, and any existing Article links will redirect to the corresponding flipbook.

Why is this feature being removed?

Articles allowed users to extract sections of a publication and present them as standalone, blog-style pages. The feature was designed to support SEO visibility and highlight specific parts of a publication.

After a thorough review, we decided to phase out Articles for the following reasons:

Accessibility
Articles no longer meet current accessibility standards. We are committed to ensuring that all Issuu features are fully accessible, and we have updated our Reader experience accordingly.

Low adoption
Only a very small percentage of publishers used Articles. As a result, we’ve chosen to redirect our efforts toward developing new sharing and distribution capabilities that benefit a broader audience.

What happens to my existing Articles?

Any existing Article links will automatically redirect to the corresponding flipbook.

What’s next?

We’re actively working on new ways to help you share and promote your content on Issuu. This includes improvements to content discovery, distribution, and overall reach, so more readers can find and engage with your publications.
