Here is a quick guide to understanding the meaning of the different invoice statuses in your account:
-
PAID: The payment was successfully processed, and your subscription has been renewed.
-
PAST DUE: The payment attempt failed, so the invoice remains open. The system will automatically retry the payment a few more times. During this period, you may receive additional notifications about failed charging attempts. If you don’t wish to renew your subscription, you can simply let it expire—this usually happens 26–28 days after the invoice date. After that, your account will automatically be downgraded to our free Basic plan.
-
FAILED: The invoice is no longer past due, as it has been closed through a write-off, and your account has been automatically downgraded to our free Basic plan. No further payment attempts will be made.
-
CLOSED: This status applies either to a refund or a write-off invoice:
-
A closed refund invoice means the refund has been successfully issued.
-
A closed write-off invoice means a past-due invoice was closed without charging your card.
