Copyright is the right of an author of a creative work to prevent others from using that work, including copying it and uploading it to Issuu without their consent.
Why was my Content Quarantined?
Your publication has been quarantined because we were notified that the uploaded publication infringes on someone’s copyright.
If you don’t own the copyrights for the publication you uploaded OR have not received permission from the rights holder to upload the publications, your publication will be taken down once we receive a report from the rights owner or their representative. You also risk being sued by the copyright owner.
What Happens when Issuu Receives a Copyright Infringement Notice?
Issuu is required by law to take down the publication once we have been notified of the copyright infringement (see Digital Millennium Copyright Act).
If you persist in uploading unauthorized content, we will, pursuant to our Repeat infringer policy, ban you from using issuu.
