The statistics we gather on your content give you better insight into the visibility of your publications online and on the Issuu platform, how much your audience engages with your work, who is viewing your work and how your content is being viewed. This information is gathered through data such as impressions, reads, read time, shares and more. Read on for descriptions of the stats we collect for you and what they mean.
All statistics are available through your Publisher Dashboard under Statistics. The statistics are updated daily at midnight UTC for all publishers.
NOTE: We don't track unique readers. So if a reader views your publication multiple times, all their views are counted.
- Impressions are the number of times that your publication(s) was served or shown on the Issuu network, whether in someones feed (as a thumbnail), search results or on a website where you've embedded the publication(s).
- Reads are counted when someone opens your publication(s) and either performs an action (by flipping the page, zooming, etc.) or stays for more than two seconds.
- Read Time will be counted once the publication(s) has been loaded for two seconds (when considered a "Read"). It will be presented as "hours:minutes:seconds" format.
- Average Time Spent is "Read Time" divided by "Reads."
- Followers are Issuu users who follow you. They get updates once you publish something new.
- Likes are Issuu users who have liked your publication(s).
- Shares are the number of times your publication(s) has been shared through the Share button.
- Times Stacked are the number of times your publication(s) has been added to a Stack/Saved.
- Link-outs are the number of times link(s) has been clicked on within your publication(s).
From Who to Where
- Reading Devices will show what amount of your readers are viewing your publication(s) through desktop, tablet or mobile.
- Source will show if your readers are viewing the publication(s) directly on Issuu or through an embed. If they're viewing it from the Shareable Full-Screen Reader it will be counted as coming from an embed.
