The Groups functionality will be phased out in 30 days, on April 11th and no longer be available for paid users.
Please check below for a quick summary of the feature.
Groups
Issuu has been supporting the ability to manage your content as a team with Groups. All Issuu accounts are by default individual accounts. With Groups feature you could recreate the Individual account into a Group account and share the workflow with your team.
With the Group account you could set up the admin (owner) who has access to everything, including the Billing and Settings. The rest of the team (regular team members) would have access to everything related to publishing.
- On our legacy Premium plan, we allowed for 3 users (1 Admin/Owner + 2 team members) and on our Optimum plan, 25 users (1 Admin/Owner + 24 team members).
To access Group account, you needed to login to your Individual account (either the Admin/Owner or a team member) and then switch or toggle to your Group account from the toolbar you get by hovering over the profile image.
Transition to Teams
To continue enjoying collaborative features, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity of upgrading to our Teams plan. By switching to Teams, you’ll keep the ability to collaborate on the flipbooks published, and unlock powerful new benefits, including:
- Removal of the Issuu logo on your flipbooks
- Organise flipbooks in different workspaces with admin controls
- Single sign-on for enhanced security
- Lead generation forms: collect leads directly from your publication, without external tools.
- Enhanced link sharing: shorten links directly in Issuu.
- Greater brand control: keep your branding front and center, with no more flipbook suggestions under your content.
- Unlimited analytics: leverage more insights into reader behavior, starting with state- and city-level locations.
- Stacks and Follower functionality (coming soon)
If you decide not to take action, your account will lose the Groups feature and all invitees will be converted into individual accounts.
To maintain access to the publications in your Groups account, make sure you have access to the email associated with the shared Group account and perform a password reset once the feature has been deactivated.
