Do team members need an issuu account to add content to a publication?

All team members need to sign up for an issuu account to access the Collaborate feature (after they’ve been invited by the Editor).

Only the Editor needs to sign up for the issuu Optimum plan to get the Collaborate feature. Please see Inviting team members to your Collaborate account for more information.

Here’s a tip: If you have multiple accounts on issuu, please make sure you are signed into the correct account before attempting to access your Collaborate account. The email address on your issuu account must be the same as the email address to which the Editor sent your Collaborate invitation.


Here’s how to check the email address on your issuu account (while logged in):

  1. Click/hover over your profile photo/avatar on the top-right corner of your issuu account, and select Account Settings.
  2. Scroll down the page to the Personal Information section to see the email address on your account, under Email.
