When you view a publication on Issuu, you will normally see a sidebar showing related publications and/or more publications from the author. The sidebar is offered as a service to readers in an effort to always inspire them with new and exciting publications. Its also an option for publishers to get exposed to new readers around the globe.

The related publications are found automatically based on the information we have about your publication. It can take a while for the sidebar to update after an upload, so please be patient.

The order of the publications from an author in the sidebar cannot be changed, but are based on the order of upload. Similarly, the content of the related sidebar cannot be changed, but if you update the meta data for your publication, the sidebar should change (over time) to better reflect the new information.

Disabling the sidebar

If you don't care too much for the sidebar, you should consider upgrading to an Issuu Paid Service. With the Hide Related Suggestions Services you can control or disable the sidebar for your embeds and standalone publications.
