When you save your PDF, you have an option to chose between different RGB color spaces.

Use this as a general rule:

Document RGB, sRGB, ColorMatch, makes the pdf bitmap colors identical to the original RGB bitmap images.

No color space applied will make the bitmaps appears slightly darker.

Adobe RGB will appears slightly desaturated.
